	Michael Beley Position: Chairman & Director Mr. Beley has been a director of Hawthorne since June, 2006 and is a member of the Company's Audit Committee. He held the position of Chaiman and President of Adriana Resources Inc. from 2004 to November 2009 , a TSX-V listed mineral exploration and development company with a development-stage iron ore port facility in Brazil, advanced mineral projects in Quebec, Canada. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Beley was a director of Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., formerly a TSX-V listed company which was acquired by U.S. GOLD in April 2007. Mr. Beley was the Vice President Corporate Development and director of Polaris Minerals Corp., a TSX listed company, from 2002 until 2003 and is currently a director of its subsidiary, Orca Sand and Gravel Ltd. which is focused on the development of two construction aggregate quarries on Vancouver Island, B.C. Since 1996, Mr. Beley has been a director of Energold Drilling Corp., a TSX-V listed contract diamond drilling company servicing the mining industry. From 1999 to 2003, he was a director of Cardero Resources Corp., a TSX company. A co-founder of Eldorado Gold Corporation, Mr. Beley served as Vice President and director of this TSX listed company from 1992 to 1999, and from 1976 to 1992 was Vice President and director of Bema Gold Corporation, formerly a TSX listed company he also co-founded and which was acquired by Kinross Gold Corp. in 2007. Mr. Beley holds a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, is a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada and is past President of the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines.

	Richard Barclay Position: President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director Mr. Barclay has been a director of the Company since June, 2006 and the President and Chief Executive Officer since October, 2006. From December 2004 to November 2009, Mr. Barclay was the Chief Financial Officer and director of Adriana Resources Inc., a TSX-V listed mineral exploration and development company with a development-stage iron ore port facility in Brazil, advanced mineral projects in Quebec, Canada. From 2002 until 2005, Mr. Barclay was Chief Executive Officer of Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., formerly a TSX-V listed company which was acquired by U.S. GOLD in April 2007. He was a co-founder and the President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Eldorado Gold Corporation, a TSX listed company, from 1992 to 1998. Eldorado operated gold mines in Mexico, Brazil and Australia, and developed significant gold assets in Turkey. A co-founder of Bema Gold Corporation, he serviced as Chief Financial Officer and director of that TSX listed company from 1982 to 1992. Bema was acquired by Kinross Gold Corp. in April 2007.

	Bernard Kahlert Position: Director Mr. Kahlert became a director of the Company in 2007. Since 1990, Mr. Kahlert has been the Vice President of Exploration and is a director of Commander Resources Ltd., a TSX-V listed exploration company focused primarily on gold and base metal exploration in Canada. Since 2002, he has been a director of Diamonds North Resources Ltd., a TSX-V listed diamond exploration company with properties in northern Canada. Prior to joining Commander Resources Ltd. in 1990, Mr. Kahlert served as Exploration Manager for Amoco Minerals and Superior Oil in Australia, Canada and the United States. Mr. Kahlert holds a B.Sc from the University of British Columbia and is a member of the British Columbia Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.

	Harvey Brooks Position: Director Mr. Brooks became a director of the Company in 2007. He is also a member of the Company's Audit Committee. Mr. Brooks retired in 2000 as Senior Vice-President and General Manager, US Division of National Bank of Canada where he was employed for 19 years. Mr. Brooks has been an active member of the Halton Business Advisory Group as well as a mentor to the MBA School of Business at the University of Victoria. Since April 2005, Mr. Brooks has been a director of Northern Sun Exploration Company Inc., a TSX-V listed, Alberta based natural gas company.

	Dale A. Sketchley Position: Director Dale A. Sketchley's career has encompassed all phases of exploration, including sampling and assaying QAQC, geological modelling and resource evaluation. Since 2002, he has been responsible for QAQC of sampling and assaying at Ivanhoe Mines Mongolia's Oyu Tolgoi deposit, and also provides guidance to Ivanhoe's various international projects. Mr. Sketchley graduated with a B.Sc. Honours in Geology-Geophysics in 1975, followed by a M.Sc. in Economic Geology in 1986, both from The University of British Columbia. From 1973 to 1988, he conducted regional, property and mine site exploration programs in western Canada for Union Minié, Chevron, Denison, Erickson Gold, Cooke Geological, MineQuest, and MPH. While at Erickson Gold, he gathered data for completion of his M.Sc. thesis research on carbonate alteration at the Table Mountain property, now owned by Hawthorne. Having joined Placer Dome in 1989, Mr. Sketchley dedicated nine years to geological evaluation of open pit and underground feasibility and mine site development studies in British Columbia and Ontario. From 1998 until 2002, he consulted for various mining companies, including Cusac Gold Mines Ltd., specializing in quality assurance and quality control ("QAQC"). Mr. Sketchley was a member of Cusac's board of directors until it was amalgamated with Hawthorne.
